Keller & Miller, CPA’S, L.L.P. has been serving clients since 1988. The Garden City, Kansas firm includes experienced and professional managers, staff accountants, computer specialists and administrative assistants, all ready to assist you. Through continuing education courses, we stay up to date on the latest developments in the tax, accounting and consulting fields. Our Partners
Tammy R. Springston
Tammy is a native of Garden City where she grew up on a farm north of town. Her time spent working on the farm contributes to her strong agricultural background. In 1994, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Fort Hays State University. Tammy is committed to bringing the work ethic she learned on the farm to her work at the office.

As the managing partner, Tammy is dedicated to providing current and future clients with exceptional service. She especially enjoys the personal interaction with her clients and realizes that getting to know them personally only enhances the quality of service she can provide them. Under her leadership, Keller & Miller will place their focus on helping clients maintain their financial viability in the present and be proactive to achieve their future goals. As a native of Southwest Kansas, Tammy is proud to be part of a growing community and relishes the opportunity to give back.

With over 30 years in public accounting, Tammy’s expertise includes financial statement audits and reviews, as well as tax planning and preparation. She works with many different industries in the area with an emphasis in the agricultural and construction sectors.

Tammy holds permits to practice in Kansas and Colorado and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Tammy and her husband, Brad, Principal of Horace Good Middle School, have two children, Jarrod and Brandon. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Troy is involved with all aspects of the firm including tax preparation, auditing and financial statement preparation, and general bookkeeping. Troy is originally from Dodge City, Kansas and graduated from Dodge City High School. In 1996, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Fort Hays State University.

Troy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Troy has served on several non-profit boards and clubs in Garden City. Troy enjoys working closely with clients in providing them accounting services.

Troy enjoys watching most sports and spending time with his family. His wife, Jessica, is a Point of Care Manager with Common Spirit and they have three children, Jackson, Emma and Graham.
Troy L. Dirks
As the newest partner at Keller & Miller, CPA’s, L.L.P, Shay brings over 13 years of experience in the accounting profession. A large part of her career has been spent advancing in the Ag industry, working closely with family farm and ranch operations in the Midwest, and has since expanded in serving a wider variety of clients. Specializing in tax planning and advising, financial statement preparation, and tax preparation, what Shay values most are the relationships she develops with her clients while working alongside them. She attributes her success to her open communication and commitment to her clients, while assisting them in reaching their goals through the beginning, growth, and succession planning stages.
Shay grew up in Hugoton, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Leadership Studies. After graduation, she was happy to establish her roots back in southwest Kansas and give back to the communities that helped shape her foundation. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Shay serves clients from both her office in Hugoton and here in Garden City.

Beyond her career, Shay is passionate about her faith, family, and friends and treasures being a mother to her three greatest blessings, Jaelyn, Sophie, and Lincoln.
